As a high-tech enterprise dedicated to the research and development of radiofrequency excited CO2 lasers, CRD Laser successfully developed an optical lens with a wavelength of 9.3µm in 2016, injecting core technological impetus into the laser processing industry. This lens precisely fits the 9.3µm band CO2 laser, not only achieving stable laser oscillation and output, but also reshaping industry standards with outstanding marking accuracy - whether it is the fine lines of automotive parts or the complex markings of electronic components, it can present a micron-level clear effect, significantly improving the processing quality in the 3C electronics, new energy and other fields.
The core of the technological breakthrough lies in the innovative application of ytterbium fluoride coating materials. Compared with traditional coating techniques, ytterbium fluoride, with its high-density crystal structure, reduces the thickness of the coating layer to one-third of that of traditional processes. This not only lowers laser transmission loss by 30% but also increases the electro-optical conversion rate of the laser to an industry-leading 28%. This "thin but precise" technical feature has demonstrated significant advantages in scenarios such as the processing of battery electrode sheets for power batteries. After a certain new energy enterprise adopted this lens, the energy consumption of its laser processing equipment decreased by 18% and its production capacity increased by 20%, perfectly meeting the high-efficiency and energy-saving requirements of intelligent manufacturing.
At present, this disruptive technology has been granted a national patent (Patent No. : ZL 201621444968.4). As a representative achievement of the company's 52 patented technologies, this lens not only promotes the upgrade of laser processing from "industrial tools" to "precision manufacturing", but also provides core support for strategic industries such as new energy and semiconductors with intellectual property barriers. Against the backdrop of the global laser market size expected to exceed 150 billion yuan by 2025, CRD Laser is reshaping the technological height of "Chinese lasers" through continuous innovation.
