In 2020, CRD Laser successfully developed a dual-band CO2 laser output lens with an innovative design of an eight-layer precision coating structure, breaking through the limitations of traditional optics and achieving synchronous and efficient output of 10.6µm far-infrared laser and 650nm red laser. This technology has been granted a national invention patent (Patent Number:). (ZL 202011098052.9), its core lies in increasing the transmittance of 650nm red light to the industry-leading level through the nanoscale coating process without affecting the transmittance of the 10.6μm band, and constructing a dual-band collaborative system of "far-infrared processing + visible light positioning".
This technological breakthrough has restructured the dimming logic of laser processing. In traditional processes, the invisibility of CO2 lasers leads to the need for repeated dimming adjustments. However, the introduction of 650nm red light is like installing an "optical sight" for the laser. A certain 3C electronics contract factory application case shows that after adopting this lens, the dimming time for cutting lithium battery electrode sheets has been shortened from an average of 20 minutes to 8 minutes, and the production line switching efficiency has increased by 60%. The optical filter effect formed by its eight-layer coating not only ensures the processing energy of far-infrared laser but also realizes real-time optical path monitoring through the visible light band, increasing the electro-optical conversion rate by 18%, perfectly meeting the efficiency requirements of precision processing of the electric drive system of new energy vehicles.
Amid the industrial wave where the global laser market size is expected to exceed 120 billion US dollars by 2025, this technology, as the core achievement of a 52-patent matrix, is driving the upgrade of laser processing from "extensive energy output" to "intelligent light field control". From semiconductor wafer dicing to aerospace component welding, its dual-band collaborative mechanism has become a standard technology in high-end manufacturing, anchoring the innovation coordinates of China's laser industry in the global value chain with intellectual property barriers.
